Should David Hodge Resign?
Q : YES
Comments : For failing to respect or ee be acknowledge the public mood in this matter.  For failing to properly defend the rights of his residents that he represents.  For manipulating data to suit his agenda.

Q : YES
Comments : For being out of touch with the people of  Surrey.

Q : YES
Comments : He has lost sight of reality

Q : YES
Comments : He doesnt manage the council or the finances very well, also he doesnt care about the people of Surrey.

Q : YES
Comments : Hodge has shown a blatant disregard for those affected by the streetlight issue, disingenuously claiming it is for cost issues whilst accepting 60% pay rises and making indefensible grants to at least one organisation that isn't needed. He denies the common sense analysis of crime figures, again disingenuous. It seems that his defeated attempt to raise our council tax by 15% was actually intended to fund his salary and vanity project grants. Needs to go now.

Q : YES
Comments : A Cllr who is in his own little bubble. Hasn't got a clue what's going on around the streets at night.
Maybe the lights will get switched on if you are ever affected by a crime during the black out

Q : YES
Comments : Mismanagement of funds paying himself a salary which in my own view is far to high and trying to give the public the fob off to answers that they want.

Q : YES
Comments : Mr Hodge is not listening to the people of Surrey, has been flippant with replies and keeps talking about doing this due to his flawed consultation which did not follow government guidlines

Q : YES
Comments : Vote of no confidence due to lack of interest in constituents safety.

We are shift workers and need to leave and arrive at all hours of the night. I'm worried about my partner arriving home or leaving for work in pitch darkness. It's a disgrace public safety is put so low down on the priority list.

We have also had a huge spike in garage and house break ins in our otherwise quiet Weybridge estate.

The lights need to be switched back on and soon, before these issues get even worse.

Q : YES
Comments : He is not representing the residents of Surrey.
His actions have placed the emergency services at greater strain which is unacceptable. Cllr Hodge must go.

Q : YES
Comments : I don't think the finances in general or the matter of the street lighting have been handled appropriately and he no longer has my support.

Q : YES
Comments : He consistently ignores the concerns of the residents of Surrey & therefore is not fit to hold office.
This site has been set up with a view to providing Surrey Residents with as much information as possible regarding the increase of crime following Surrey CC's decision to turn off our street lights between midnight and 5am.
We also need your help to force Surrey CC reverse their decision.

We believe that Surrey CC has put savings before public safety and in doing so the are putting Surrey Residents at risk.
